Baúl de Recuerdos is a fanzine that explores nostalgia as a contemporary emotional construct, examined through the lens of photography and digital culture.
Starting from the idea that time travel is impossible, photography becomes the device that allows us to return. It acts as a bridge between past and present, preserving fragments of our identity through images.
The project examines the shift from material photographic permanence to the fluid and mutable nature of digital imagery. In the age of post-photography, images no longer simply document reality; they actively construct and reshape it.
Through archival references, layered compositions, and digital interventions, the fanzine builds a visual narrative where memory is not static but constantly reconfigured. The past does not simply remain; it is reactivated, reframed, and reinterpreted through contemporary visual culture.
